When you buy refurbished or second-hand AirPods, they will show the name of their previous owner whenever you connect them to your device. Follow these steps to reset your AirPods or AirPods Pro:

Put your AirPods in their case.

Close the lid of your AirPods case. Wait for at least 30 seconds.

Locate the setup button on the back of the case.
