Follow these easy step-by-step instructions to replace the damaged ear speaker of your Samsung Galaxy S21+:
Step 1 Gather Mobile Repairing Tools
Collect all these essential mobile repairing tools to replace the defective ear speaker of your Galaxy S21 Plus:
- A hot air gun or hair dryer
- A suction cup
- A SIM ejection tool
- A plastic opening pick or tool
- A Spudger or prying tool
- A set of screwdrivers
- A pair of tweezers
- A cotton bud
- New adhesive glue
- Isopropyl Alcohol
- Clean cotton cloth
Step 2 Power Off Your Samsung Galaxy S21+
Follow these few steps to turn off your Samsung Galaxy S21+:
- Press the side button and volume down button together.
- Wait for a few seconds.
- A power-off menu will pop up on the screen.
- Choose the power off option to turn off your Galaxy S21 Plus.
Step 3 Eject The SIM Card Tray
Take a SIM ejection tool or pin.

Enter a plastic opening pick or tool into the gap between the rear cover and your phone’s frame.

Step 7 Cut Through The Bottom Adhesive
Heat will melt the adhesive around the edges of your S21 Plus.
- Now you can cut the adhesive easily with a pick.
- Hold the pick and start sliding it from your phone’s lower right to the lower left corner. Repeat this movement twice or thrice to cut through the lower adhesive.
Step 8 Remove The Left Adhesive
Keep sliding the plastic pick from the lower left to the upper left corner to slice the left-side adhesive.
Important Tip
- Remember the back camera assembly of your Samsung S21 Plus is located at the top left corner.
- There is a little more adhesive around the camera shell.
- If the adhesive is difficult to slice around the camera shell, reheat the top left corner for 2 to 3 minutes. Heat will melt the adhesive around the camera shell.
Step 9 Slice The Upper Adhesive
Now move the plastic pick from the upper left to the upper right corner of your S21 Plus to slice the upper edge adhesive.
Step 10 Cut The Right Adhesive
To slice the right-side adhesive, move the plastic pick from the upper right to the lower right corner.
- Repeat this step twice to cut the right-side adhesive effectively.
Step 11 Detach The Back Cover
After slicing adhesive around the edges of your phone, detach the rear cover from your phone’s frame.
- Keep the rear cover aside.
Step 12 Disconnect The Charging Coil
Unclip the charging coil press connector with a spudger or prying tool to disconnect it from the motherboard.
Step 13 Disconnect The NFC Antenna
Pry up the NFC Antenna press connector with a spudger to disconnect it from the motherboard.
Step 14 Unscrew The NFC Antenna And Charging Coil Assembly
You can see five 3.9mm long screws securing the NFC Antenna and Charging Coil Assembly to the phone’s motherboard.
- Unscrew the NFC Antenna and charging coil with a screwdriver.
- Keep these five screws in a safe place as you may need them during the reassembly of your S21+.
Step 15 Remove The NFC Antenna And Charging Coil Assembly
Use an opening pick to cut the adhesive around the edges of the wireless charging coil.
- Now lift the NFC Antenna and Charging Coil Assembly with a spudger or a prying tool.
- Remove the NFC Antenna and Charging Coil Assembly with the help of your fingers or tweezers.
Step 16 Disconnect The Battery
Unclip the battery’s press connector to disconnect it from the motherboard.
Step 17 Unscrew The Ear Speaker Assembly
There are seven 3.9mm long screws securing the ear speaker of your S21 Plus.
- Unscrew the ear speaker assembly with the help of a screwdriver.
- Keep these seven screws in a safe place.
Step 18 Disconnect The Ear Speaker
Unclip the press connector of the ear speaker with a spudger.
Step 19 Remove The Ear Speaker Assembly ‘
Lift the ear speaker from its recess with a spudger or prying tool.
- Hold the ear speaker assembly with your fingers or tweezers.
- Remove the defective ear speaker from its recess.
- Keep it aside.
Step 20 Install The New Ear Speaker
Install and connect the new ear speaker assembly to the motherboard.
Step 21 Reassemble Your Galaxy S21 Plus
To reassemble your S21 Plus, reconnect all the components and tighten up all the screws.
- Take a cotton bud and dip it in Isopropyl Alcohol.
- Rub this cotton bud around the edges of your S21 Plus’s frame and rear cover.
- Isopropyl Alcohol will melt the old adhesive around the edges of the phone frame and rear cover.
- Wipe away the old adhesive and Isopropyl Alcohol from the edges of the phone frame and rear cover.
- Apply new adhesive glue around the edges of your S21 Plus’s back cover.
- Carefully, attach the back cover to your phone’s frame.
